Happy Halloween!

This is a busy week! Monday night, the 25th is the 3-5 Halloween Dance from 7-8 pm.
Wednesday night at 7pm is a Halloween Black Light Theatre performance in the Great Hall.
Wednesday night the 27th is a library Halloween night from 6-8:00.
Friday night is the Yearbook Halloween Fun night here in the Great Hall.

We will be having an assembly from 11:00-11:25 on Friday 29th, rotating stations from 12:30-1:30, a costume parade which will be judged by our secretaries and finally class parties with food, movies and games from 1:45-2:45. Please send your shildren with make-up on if they require a lot of help, but they will have to wait until after lunch to change into their costumes.

IT SHOULD BE A SPOOKTACULAR WEEK!!!!

Pink Week is coming up the week of November 22-26. GMCS will be promoting anti-bullying in our school. On the Friday, the Student Council would like to present every student and staff with a "PINK" t-shirt. In order to help out with the cost they are asking to collect $2 from each student. The money and t-shirt size is due to homeroom teachers by Friday, October 22.

Updates:

• School pictures will be arriving home today and the orders are due back October 21st. The picture retakes will be taken on October 18th and the fee is $5. Please send in proof envelope with your signature and the $5 if you want a retake done of your child.
• The magazine campaign ends on Mon. October 18th.
• Yearbook orders should continue to come in. They are $40 until December 23rd. After that the price goes up to $45.
• The student council is asking students to bring in one item for the food bank in a campaign called "Halloween for Hunger". They are asking students to bring an item on Friday Oct. 15th and the 29th.
• There is a Halloween dance for grade 3-5 from 7-8pm on Tuesday, October 26th in the Great Hall. The admission fee is $3.00.
• We will be having an assembly on Friday, October 29th at 11:00 am. We will also be having fun activities for the students that afternoon. The students are permitted to bring a costume to school, however they must wait until after lunch to change into their costumes.
